PM Oli and ministers reach agreements on work-performance

KATHMANDU, Sept 12: The Deputy Prime Minister and Ministers reached a work-performance agreement with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Thursday for the key works to be done and the achievements to be made in the current Fiscal Year (FY).

The agreement was signed and copies of the agreement were exchanged during a program held on Thursday at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Singhdurbar. Likewise, the work performance agreement has been signed between the PM Oli and the Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal.

The work performance agreement has been reached to fulfill the national aspiration of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’ and to complete the initiated infrastructure construction and service delivery improvement works within the stipulated time.

Along with the schedule, the major tasks to be done and achievements to be made up to the first hundred days of the formation of the government (i.e. October 6, 2024); the major tasks to be performed and achievements to be made up to the second hundred days (i.e. January 30, 2025), the tasks to be done and achievements to be made in the remaining tasks for the year 2024-2025 included in the work performance.

After the ministers have signed the work performance agreement with PM Oli,  they are also preparing to sign the agreement with the respective secretaries.The method of agreements for achieving targeted achievements within the specified time, improving service delivery efficiency, and  monitoring and evaluation was initiated during Prime Minister Oli's previous tenure.

The work performance with the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Minister of Forests and Environment and Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, who is currently outside the country, will be concluded  later.
