PM directs manpower agencies to operate business decently

KATHMANDU, Nov 19: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has directed manpower companies to operate foreign employment sector in an organised and decent way. 



In the backdrop of reports of Nepali labourers being stranded in foreign land, he said the government would become more sensitive to the functioning of manpower agencies. 



PM Dahal was responding to the complaints of five Nepali workers who were recently rescued after being stranded in Saudi Arabia, at Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar on Saturday. 



On the occasion, much to the relief of entire Nepali workers in foreign land, he said the government was committed to protecting Nepali workers in various foreign countries who have been left high and dry for various reasons. 



He also assured that the government was taking special initiatives to rescue and provide help to those Nepali labourers who have been stranded in various foreign countries or have died there or are languishing in jails or to whom capital punishment have been handed down. RSS
