KATHMANDU Jan 11: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is going to Uganda in mid-January.


He is going to Uganda to attend the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) member states. The conference is scheduled to be held on January 19 and January 20 in Kampala, the capital of Uganda.

The Cabinet meeting on Tuesday decided to participate in the conference under the leadership of the Prime Minister. A team led by Foreign Minister NP Saud and Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal will go before the Prime Minister.


A meeting of the ministerial level of the member states of the Non-Aligned Movement is scheduled to take place on January 17 and January 14 while a meeting of the high level officials will take place on January 15 and January 16.
