PM Dahal reaches Sindhupalchowk to inspect Melamchi Drinking Water Project

KATHMANDU, June 17: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reached Sindhupalchok to inspect the Melamchi Drinking Water Supply Project.


On Saturday morning, Prime Minister Dahal, along with Minister for Physical Infrastructure Yubaraj Dulal, Health Minister Mohan Basnet, and Minister for Drinking Water Supply and Irrigation Mahendra Rai Yadav visited Melamchi.

They were welcomed by local representatives in Melamchi.


Prime Minister Dahal will be inspecting the Melamchi Drinking Water Project, which was damaged by a major flood two years ago. Dozens of houses were washed away by the flood. The flood also caused damage to the Melamchi Drinking Water Project.


Prime Minister Dahal is also scheduled to inspect the reconstruction of houses that were damaged by flood.
