KATHMANDU, June 10: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, currently on an official visit to India, had a courtesy call on Indian President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Monday.
During the meeting, PM Dahal and President Murmu discussed the long-standing mutual relations between Nepal and India and various issues of bilateral interest. PM Dahal's Secretariat said that both leaders emphasized the importance of strengthening the traditional ties between the two countries.

PM Dahal attended the swearing-in ceremony of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Sunday evening. Following the ceremony, PM Dahal met with PM Modi, congratulating him on assuming office for the third consecutive term and expressing optimism about elevating Nepal-India relations during PM Modi's tenure.
Additionally, PM Dahal attended a dinner hosted by President Murmu on Sunday evening. The delegation led by the prime minister, which reached Delhi on Sunday morning, is scheduled to return to Kathmandu on Monday evening.
