KATHMANDU, Jan 5: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal met family members including father of Cambodia fire victim Nirakar Pandey. Pandey died in the fire at Cambodia Grand Diamond City and Casino last Thursday night.
According to the PM’s Personal Secretariat, the Prime Minister Dahal called Agni Pandey– father of the deceased and other family members at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Thursday morning for a meeting.
Nirakar’s body to be brought from Cambodia on Friday
In the meeting with the Prime Minister, Pandey expressed his gratitude for the concern and responsibility shown by the government. He said that the unexpected death of his son had shocked him.
Prime Minister Dahal expressed his grief over the death of Nirakar and expressed his condolences to the family. Asking Nirakar’s father to have patience, Prime Minister Dahal expressed his commitment to bring Nirakar's body to Nepal at the earliest possible date and support the family on behalf of the government.
