Playing national anthem mandatory at theaters

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Now national anthem should be compulsorily played at cinema halls in the country before screening of a movie.

During a press meet organized at Film Development Board, Chairman Raj Kumar Rai informed that the rule has been enforced in theaters across the country.


“The rule will be effective during screening of films of Nepali, Hindi, English or any other languages,” Rai said at the press meet, adding that the rule will implemented by theaters within 15 days.
