KATHMANDU, Jan 4: The 23-year-old man, Dev Bahadur Thapa, from Okhaldhunga, who was suspected of killing a young woman in a hotel room in Pinglastan, Kathmandu, has also been found dead.
Sushmita Khadka, a 21-year-old woman from Kageshwori Manohara, Kathmandu, was found dead inside room number 308 of Bagmati Hotel in Pinglastan on Wednesday. It has been revealed that she was staying at the hotel with Thapa.

The police launched a search for Thapa after the incident came to light. According to the police, Thapa was found hanging in Sisneri of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-3, Okhaldhunga, on Saturday.
Police investigation revealed that Thapa had returned to Nepal from Japan in mid-November. Meanwhile, Sushmita was also preparing to visit Japan and was learning the Japanese language.
Police are trying to find out the relationship between them and the cause of Sushmita's death. With Thapa also found dead, the scope of the investigation has expanded further.
