Pilots involved in Ramechhap Airport fight face license suspension

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: In the aftermath of the fight between two pilots at Ramechhap's Manthali Airport, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has suspended the licenses of the involved Tara Airlines pilots, Captain Santosh Shah and Captain Sanjeev Shrestha.

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: In the aftermath of the fight between two pilots at Ramechhap's Manthali Airport, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has suspended the licenses of the involved Tara Airlines pilots, Captain Santosh Shah and Captain Sanjeev Shrestha.


CAAN Spokesperson Jagannath Niraula confirmed the suspension, stating, "Their licenses have been temporarily suspended. The final decision regarding the cancellation or reinstatement of their licenses will be determined once the investigation is completed."

The altercation took place at 8 AM on Friday, following the arrival of a TwinOtter aircraft operated by Tara Air at Ramechhap Airport from Lukla.
