KATHMANDU, Oct 6: People above 18 years of age will be vaccinated against COVID-19 in Lalitpur from today.
The District Public Health Office, Lalitpur, has said that all the citizens above the age of 18 will be vaccinated with Vero Cell COVID-19 vaccines from today. The vaccines have been made available at designated vaccination centers.
More than 10 million people vaccinated against COVID-19
Chief of the health office, Dr Khageshwar Gelal said that the first dose of Vero Cell will be given to all people above 18 years of age from Wednesday as per the direction of the District Vaccination Coordination Committee.
He said that the vaccination campaign was resumed keeping in mind the possibility of overcrowding and spread of COVID-19 during the festival. The health office has stated that the people can get vaccinated by going to the vaccination centers designated by the municipality.
Kathmandu district, on the other hand, has already vaccinated citizens above the age of 18 a week ago.
