Parliamentary Sub-committee to study customs duty levied on sponge and billet iron

KATHMANDU, March 12: The Industry and Commerce, Labour and Consumer Interest Committee under the House of Representatives has formed a seven-member sub-committee to carry out study in relation to the customs and excise duties levied on sponge and billet iron.

KATHMANDU, March 12: The Industry and Commerce, Labour and Consumer Interest Committee under the House of Representatives has formed a seven-member sub-committee to carry out study in relation to the customs and excise duties levied on sponge and billet iron. 


The members of the sub-committee include Krishna Kumar Shrestha, Ganesh Parajuli, Geeta Basnet, Dhurba Thapa, Rekha Yadav, Lakshmi Mahato Koiri and Suryaman Tamang.

Meanwhile, the parliamentary committee meeting has also instructed concerned authorities to provide details of tobacco and tobacco products produced in Nepal and the details of their annual imports in Nepal.
