Actress Parineeti Chopra currently has her kitty full of some interesting films. While this is now, it wasn’t the case a few years ago. Parineeti, in her recent interview, opened her heart out about the low phase of her life that she experienced in the year 2014-2015. Speaking about her ordeal and how she overcame all the obstacles, she reportedly said that after her films, ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ and ‘Kill Dil’ tanked at the box-office, she did not get any offers of film and she was also short of money. It was at the same time when she went through a big heartbreak in her life.

Elaborating further on her state, she added that she completely shut herself up at that time. She wouldn’t eat or sleep and did not have any friends to talk to too. She added that she even cut off touch with her family members who she would call only once or twice a week. She also did not meet the media for about six months.
Even in that period of isolation, Parineeti stated that she did get help from people who were close to her. Her brother Sahej and friend Sanjana reached out to her and helped her come out of that phase. After a year and a half of this ordeal, Pari said that she started to feel better towards the start of 2016. She stated that she worked on herself and became fitter. It was also the time when she signed, ‘Golmaal 4’ and ‘Meri Pyari Bindu’.
The actress now feels that phase has fixed her for life and she is more optimistic today. She also added that although she called herself a loser for that phase, it was the biggest win of her life.
Meanwhile, on the work front, she is currently promoting her upcoming film, ‘Jabariya Jodi’ along with co-star Sidharth Malhotra.
Apart from this, she will be seen in the official remake of ‘The Girl on the Train’ and Saina Nehwal biopic.
