Over 6,000 candidates pass first phase of EPS language test

KATHMANDU, April 10: A total of 6,321 candidates have passed the first phase of Employment Permit System (EPS) language test for manufacturing sector jobs in South Korea.

Out of 40,580 people who participated in the language test from February 19 to April 6, altogether 6,321 candidates successfully cleared the test.


As per the EPS Korea branch under the Department of Foreign Employment, the next step for these candidates is to undergo a skill test. Only upon passing the 'Skill and Competency Test' will they be eligible for inclusion in the list of workers authorized to work in Korea.


The skill test will be conducted from April 21 to April 27. The EPS Korea branch has informed the candidates who have passed the test to appear with their passports and admit card at the designated place and time for the test.


The second phase exam will be conducted from May 31 to July 31 and the third phase exam will be conducted from November 11 to  December 17.
