Taking part in the deliberations on the government's policy and program in parliament on Friday, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said the government's policy and program wa" "borin"." UCPN (Maoist) has registered an amendment motion on the policy and program of the government, expressing its dissatisfaction on many issues. Registering amendment motion, UCPN (Maoist) Chief Whip Giriraj Mani Pokhrel said that government policy and program fails to address the issue of trade deficit and immediate need of reconstruction.
Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal, Tarai Madhes Democratic Party, Rastriya Janamorcha, Tharuhat Tarai Party Nepal and Khambuwan National Front have registered amendment proposal on government's policy and program.
Meanwhile, lawmakers from the ruling parties have stressed on unity among major political parties for effective implementation of the government's policy and program.
CPN-UML Vice-Chairperson Bidya Bhandari appreciated the policy and program for focusing on reconstruction and local election" "Though it appears traditional, it is enough for immediate reconstruction of the countr"," said Bhandari.
