KATHMANDU, Dec 5: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has released six among seven suspects brought to Kathmandu from Kanchanpur in the course of investigation into the case of Nirmala Panta.
They were freed following an interrogation.
“Six among seven suspects who were brought to Kathmandu for their DNA test from Kanchanpur have been released,” said CIB in a press release issued today.

One suspect has been kept into the custody for his DNA test.
His DNA will be examined whether it matches the sample of vaginal swab of Nirmala Panta.
