UDAYAPUR, July 9: A person was killed and two others injured due to a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall at Toribari of Triyuga municipality-15 in Udayapur district. According to the police, the area witnessed excessive rainfall since Monday night.
District Police Office, Udayapur, stated that eight-year-old Rupkala Magar died while 40-year-old Hira Maya Magar and her seven-year-old son Yogesh Magar were hurt in the disaster.

Hira and Yogesh, who were critically injured in the incident, are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
The landslide has buried four houses and left five other houses in Toribari at high risk.
