Arjun Basent, the assistant driver, of Bijouri VDC-3 was killed when the bus (Ra 1 Kha 311) met with the accident, the area police office said.
Three persons, who were critically injured, have been taken to Nepalgunj for treatment, while the rest 13 have sustained minor injuries.
The bus driver is absconding. Police are investigating the incident.
