SAPTARI, May 1: A man was injured and properties worth Rs 700,000 total destroyed in fire incident at Dakneshowri Municipality-1 in Saptari district on Sunday evening.
Mohammad Allaudin Miya's house and two other adjacent houses were destroyed by the fire that suddenly erupted from a bonfire at Miya's house.

Miya sustained injuries in the inferno and a cow shade and two oxen were also burnt to death by the fire, according to the police.
The injured is receiving treatment at the Rau Memorial Hospital at Lahan in the district, police said.
Two other houses in the vicinity belonging to Bhim Narayan Shah and Hari Narayan Shah were also reduced to ashes in the incident.
The houses, made up of mud and hay, were razed down by the fire along with the goods, including food items and clothes inside, police added.
The fire was doused through joint effort of the locals, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force and fire brigade. RSS
