MORANG, Dec 25: A young man died in a motorcycle accident in Katahari Rural Municipality, Morang on Saturday night.
According to the traffic police, a motorcycle (Province 1 -04-001 Pa 8889) which was going from west to east in Katahari-6 Hurhuriya, went out of control around 10:00 PM and met with an accident. Morang traffic police chief Inspector Rajkumar Karki informed Republica that the motorcyclist, Suraj Kumar Sardar, 35, of Dhanpal Than Rural Municipality-5 of Morang, died.

Inspector Karki said that Sardar, who was injured in the accident, was taken to Kosi Hospital in Biratnagar and was declared dead by the doctors. Preliminary investigations revealed that the accident occurred when the vehicle went out of control due to potholes on the road. According to the traffic police, documents such as driver's license were not found with the deceased Sardar and the body has been kept at Kosi Hospital for a post-mortem.
