He added that the government runs for five years following the democratic process as it has received the public mandate for the same. He added that era of unstable government went away after the unification of two major communist forces.
Speaking in a program organized by Nepal National Industry Trade Association to mark its 12th anniversary here in the capital today, chair Dahal also former Prime Minister, argued that they will not miss the opportunity to lead nation on the way to prosperity as the communist party has got a majority in federal, provincial and local levels.
On another note, chair Dahal shared that the government policy and program have paved a clear way for the development targeting upcoming five years.
He added that the budget will focus on infrastructure development and social sector.
Saying the unity is above power accumulation to stabilize politics, he said no force would intervene and make the unity fall apart.
Referring to the main opposition Nepali Congress attending the all-party meeting held in Baluwatar on Wednesday saying reportedly the unification would help stabilize politics and bring development, he urged all to work for the economic development of the country.
"Independent and self-reliant economy will lead the country towards prosperity. To that end, foreign investment, skills and technologies are also needed," he said.
UML General Secretary Bishnu Poudel said new doors of opportunities have been opened in the country with the beginning of political stability. RSS
