KATHMANDU, April 2: Nepal and Thailand have signed agreements on culture and tourism promotion during the visit of Prime Minister KP Oli to Thailand.
Prime Minister Oli held talks with Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra on Wednesday, resulting in the signing of several agreements, including those in the fields of culture and tourism.

The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Prime Minister’s Advisors Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada, Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal, and Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai.
Thai PM Shinawatra welcomed PM Oli at the government building, where memoranda of understanding were also exchanged between institutions of both countries.
At a joint press conference following the meeting, the two leaders underscored the importance of bilateral cooperation across various sectors. Later today, PM Oli is scheduled to meet with King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand.
