KATHMANDU, Feb 18: Nepal A has set a target of 217 runs for Canada XI to secure victory in the inaugural match of the three-day ODI series being held at the Mulpani International Cricket Ground.
After winning the toss and choosing to bowl first, Canada XI limited Nepal A to 216 runs in the allocated 50 overs. The Nepali team made the score losing eight wickets.

Leading the charge for Nepal A, Bashir Ahmed scored a half-century, while Rashid Khan contributed 40 runs.
Additionally, Mayan Yadav added 35 runs to the team’s total.
Similarly, Kiran Thagunna and Bibek Yadav further added 25 and 21 runs respectively to Nepal A’s score.
