KATHMANDU, July 24: A protest has been held at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu, saying that the Public Service Commission book contains questions and options for answer with objectionable words about women.

The All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary) staged a protest on Monday after finding objectionable questions and answers in a book on public service commission written by Ram Ekwal Das, Assistant Conservation Officer of the Ministry of Forests and Environment.

They protested by burning copies of the book. The protesters carried placards that read ‘Stop violence against women, protect women's rights’. A student who participated in the protest said that page number 143 of the book titled 'Game Scout, Forest Guard, Safalta ko Sathi’, published by Vidya Bikas Publications, Kalanki, had a question and answer with objectionable words about women.
