Regarding the Facebook post, Tarun Dal and Nepal Student Union (NSU), the youth and student wing of NC, protested saying that Shah should apologize publicly. The NSU of Baitadi has written a statement announcing that the film 'Ghamad Shere' will not be allowed to run in any theater in the far west.
After the protest, Shah has updated another status, clarifying his previous post. He wrote, “I was not trying to hurt the feelings of any organization or individual. I also want to announce that I don’t have any political affiliation. It was meant to be a light hearted humor. Please accept my apology, if it has affected you differently! #GhamadShere #Kartik22.”
Directed by Hem Raj BC, the movie features actor duo Nischal Basnet and Swastima Khadka and is scheduled to be released this Saturday
