As per the meeting decisions, a programme will be held near Dharahara on Baisakh 12 (April 24) to pay tributes to the earthquake victims.
NRA Spokesperson Ram Prasad Thapaliaya said a candlelight vigil will be held at Maitighar Mandal in the evening of April 24. All other quake-hit districts in coordination with their respective District Development Committee would also pay tribute to those killed in the quake.
Among the decisions taken by the Committee is to expedite the grant agreement process in the 11 worst-affected districts where the surveys on the same have concluded. The names of those benefiting from this agreement shall be published in their respective VDC, District Development Committee and municipalities.
Similarly, the construction of a community residence shall be started in each district.
The Education Ministry and Health Ministry would initiate reconstruction task of at least one school and health institution in every district on April 25.
The Department of Archeology would carry out reconstruction of the Kathmandu-based archeological heritages including Yogini temple of Sankhu, Anantapur-Swayambhunath, Bansha Gopal temple of Hanumandhoka, Phasi Deg of Bhaktapur, Manimandap of Lalitpur, among others. RSS
