NPL: Lumbini Lions set 171-run target for Pokhara Avengers

With his 95 runs scored in the match, Rohit has become the player to score the highest individual score in the ongoing NPL. Earlier, Lahiru Milantha registered a personal score of 75 runs.

KATHMANDU, Dec 6: Lumbini Lions have set a target of 171 runs for Pokhara Avengers in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL).


Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Lions managed to score a total of 170 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs in the ongoing match at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.


Captain Rohit Paudel and Tom Moores shared a partnership of 110 runs for the fourth wicket for the Lions. Paudel was run out for 95 runs. He scored the highest of 95 runs for the Lions, hitting 10 fours and four sixes off 59 balls. Tom Moores was run out scoring 45 runs off 38 balls, hitting 2 fours and 2 sixes.

Lumbini openers Aashutosh Ghiraiya and Unmukt Chand were dismissed for zero runs by Bipin Khatri. Sandeep Jora was dismissed through Leg Before Wicket (LBW) after scoring 18 runs.


Bipin Khatri took 2 wickets and Matt Critchley took 1 wicket for Pokhara Avengers.
