KATHMANDU, Dec 12: Biratnagar Kings have set a target of 140 runs for Pokhara Avengers in the first match of the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Thursday.
After winning the toss and deciding to bat first, Biratnagar Kings managed to score 139 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Scott Edwards, who made his NPL debut in this match for Biratnagar Kings, scored 45 runs off 35 balls, hitting 5 fours. Opener Lokesh Bam added 26 runs and Nicholas Kirton added 19 runs.
Similarly, Bashir Ahmed scored 21 unbeaten runs off 20 balls with the help of 1 six.
