Novel Swapnabhumi launched on Friday

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: The novel Swapnabhumi by Dr Tulasi Acharya, which tells the story of a young man who came to America as a country of dreams, was launched in Kathmandu on Friday.

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: The novel Swapnabhumi by Dr Tulasi Acharya, which tells the story of a young man who came to America as a country of dreams, was launched in Kathmandu on Friday.


Actor Rajesh Hamal launched the novel amidst a program in Nepal Academy Hall, Kathmandu. "The story is about a young man who came back to the country after realizing the importance of Nepal and his happiness after he had gone abroad to get wealth and happiness," he said. “It also highlights the culture and job-based discrimination experienced by Nepalis living abroad.”

Similarly, in the program critic Kumari Lama said that the book tries to show the story of millions of Nepali youth who have migrated abroad and the struggle of the ambitious dreams woven by the youth.
