Non-essential vehicles will be off road in the Valley on Nov 20

KATHMANDU, Nov 16: On the day of the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections to be held on November 20, non-essential vehicles will not be allowed to operate in the Kathmandu Valley.

KATHMANDU, Nov 16: On the day of the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections to be held on November 20, non-essential vehicles will not be allowed to operate in the Kathmandu Valley.


The security committee meeting of the three chief district officers of the Kathmandu Valley decided to put a stop to traffic on November 20.

Ghanshyam Upadhyay, chief district officer of Kathmandu district, said that on November 20, non-essential vehicles will be closed in the valley from 4 AM to 7 PM, targeting the election.


Upadhyay said that vehicles other than those specified by the Election Commission will not be allowed to operate.
