Nokia to launch its Android phones in Nepal

KATHMANDU, August 1: Nokia has said it had appointed Paramount Electronics Pvt Ltd to distribute its Android smartphones in the Nepali market.

Issuing a statement, the company said that the highlight for 2017 would be Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 along with Nokia 3310. All the phone supports dual SIMs. While the Nokia 3 costs Rs 15,620, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 will be available for Rs 21,350 and Rs 25,600, according to the statement. Nokia 3 has features like 5-inch HD display, Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, Android Nougat OS 7.0 and a 2630mAh battery.


"Similarly, Nokia 5 has 5.2-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-Core 1.4 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, full aluminum body, Android Nougat OS 7.1.1, and 3,000mAh battery," the company added in the statement. Nokia 6 has 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 430 chipset, Octa-Core 1.4GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, full aluminum body, 8MP front camera, 16MP rear camera, fingerprint scanner and Android Nougat OS 7.1.1, among others.
