KATHMANDU, Dec 12: Not a single Nepali player secured a spot in the auction held for Indian Premier League (IPL) scheduled for 2024. While Nepal's spinner Sandeep Lamichhane had earned a place in the past few seasons, no player from Nepal managed to secure a spot in the upcoming season.
There was anticipation that some Nepalese players, who have been performing well in cricket recently, would make it to the IPL next season. However, even Lamichhane, who was auctioned before, did not find a spot this time.
