RSS quoted Dr Karki as saying that there was no need to take Koirala abroad for treatment. He said Koirala´s condition is stable.
The former prime minister is suffering from ailments in his lungs.
Sitaula, who was present during the doctors´ meeting, said Koirala´s condition is stable. Doctors have put Koirala under additional oxygen supply round the clock in the recent days after his condition deteriorated.
Koirala was taken to Singapore in an air ambulance when he fell seriously ill last November. He had received treatment at Gleneagles Hospital, a 380-bed private tertiary acute care hospital in Singapore, from November 14-22, 2009.

Rumors were rife Wednesday afternoon about further deterioration of Koirala´s health condition spreading worries among his well-wishers.
Meanwhile, the NC issued a press release quoted the doctors involved in his treatment as saying that Koirala´s condition is normal.
