DAMAULI, Oct 22: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said there is no need to make unnecessary remarks regarding the issue of suspended Chief of Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lokman Singh Karki.

Leader Poudel said this while inaugurating a daylong training organized by NC, Tanahun to its Presidents of Villages and Municipalities of the district at Damauli on Saturday.

The NC Central Working Committee would discuss the issue and officially reach to a conclusion, Poudel clarified.

He also expressed concern over the act of pompously raising an issue of a person to a wider debate when the time is crucial for advancing the pertinent issues of constitution implementation and preparation for three tiers of elections.

On a different note, Poudel asserted the Local Body Restructuring Commission has been failed to determine the proper numbers of local units, claiming that the recent determination of numbers of local bodies would also invite dispute.

The NC leader called for all political parties to understand the essence of time to seriously work towards implementing the constitution by addressing the genuine demands of Madhesi Morcha.

Also speaking on the occasion, lawmaker Dhruba Wagle said the country would plunge into a serious crisis if the elections of all three tiers were not held by 20 January 2018.

The program was presided over by NC Tanahun President Baikuntha Neupane. RSS
