No economic prosperity until parliamentary system exists: Dr Bhattarai

SURUNGA (Jhapa), Aug 6: Coordinator of the Naya Shakti Nepal, Dr Baburam Bhatatrai, has said that the country could not move ahead towards economic prosperity until the parliamentary system exits.

SURUNGA (Jhapa), Aug 6: Coordinator of the Naya Shakti Nepal, Dr Baburam Bhatatrai, has said that the country could not move ahead towards economic prosperity until the parliamentary system exits. 



At a news conference organised by the Birtamod Press Club at Birtamod in Jhapa today, Coordinator Dr Bhattarai said that there would not be economic development in the country if the country dies not move ahead as per the presidential system. 



Stating that development and prosperity was the first necessity of the country, he said that dirty game of power could not develop the country. 



Also the former prime Minister, Dr Bhattarai said that he signed the new constitution only to institutionalize the republicanism and added that the new constitution should be amended to end the existing political stalemate. RSS
