No constitution without consensus: UCPN (M) leader Shrestha

MORANG, March 20: UCPN (Maoist) vice-chair Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said that the constitution drafting process would not be complete without consensus.

Talking to the media persons at Biratnagar Airport Friday, leader Shrestha added that the constitution drafting process would be incomplete if the major partner of the peace process and different movements was kept in isolation.He added that they could not neglect the spirit of the different peoples' movements in the name of consensus.

He further blamed the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML as they were responsible for the current political deadlock.
