Speaking at a press conference organized by Press Chautari, Nepal, “For the extension of the tenure of Constituent Assembly, the government has to bring the purpose for the amendment of the interim constitution, said Pokhrel”.
He said there is no alternative of political consensus that the Unified CPN-Maoist (UCPN-Maoist) should have to be flexible.
“The process to constitution writing was halted due to double military structures in the country,” said UML general secretary Pokhrel. He added Maoists leaders and cadres could not write constitution dancing with Khukuris (Knives) in the street.
