The voters' roll update has been regularly undertaken by the Commission before the election date was announced.

In the context when applications are being registered seeking changes in voters' list following the publication of the final list, the existing legal provision of the Voters' Rollout Act, 2073 (Clause 21) did not allow for changes, additions and omission, the EC further clarified.

It also claimed that the issue would not be challenged at the courts in accordance with the Act.
