LAHAN, Siraha, Dec 3: Nine people have been caught from Lahan and fined for stealing electricity.
A team from the Nepal Electricity Authority branch, Mirchaiya arrested the people from various places like Mirchaiya, Kalyanpur and Kajanha, while stealing electricity through a hooking.

The arrest was made in the course of a monitoring, said the branch's chief Digambar Yadav. Four electricity meters, three fans and three television sets were also confiscated.
Over Rs 50,000 have been collected in fine from the arrestees, said Yadav.
