KATHMANDU, April 24: Newly appointed Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, Raghuji Pant, took the oath of office and secrecy on Thursday at Sheetal Niwas.
President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath office and secrecy to Pant during a special ceremony held at 4 pm.

Pant, a Member of Parliament (MP) from the CPN-UML, was appointed as minister on Wednesday. He succeeds former Education Minister Bidya Bhattarai, who resigned earlier this week.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by officials from the President’s Office, high-ranking dignitaries and government representatives.
