New Home Minister vows for sound security

KATHMANDU, Aug 4: Newly-appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi has pledged that the government would leave no stone unturned to strengthen nation's security.

KATHMANDU, Aug 4: Newly-appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi has pledged that the government would leave no stone unturned to strengthen nation's security.


Talking to media after assuming his office at Singha Durbar Thursday, Minister Nidhi vowed to take collaborative efforts to ensure sound security in the country. On the occasion, he directed the police administration to focus its attention on the wellbeing of the nation and people.

This is the third time that leader Nidhi has been appointed a minister. He has already served as the Minister for General Administration twice, and the Ministry of Physical Planning and Works.


He was welcomed by Ministry's Officiating Secretary Binod KC, chiefs of the Nepal Police and Armed Police Force and Ministry employees. RSS
