KATHMANDU, Sept 29: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday declined by 22.36 points to close at 2,464.40 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,486.76 points and hit the day’s low at 2,443.43 points in about one hour of trading. The index then went to an upward graph and reached the day’s high at 2,494.58 points before one hour and 46 minutes of trading was left. The market lost around 30 points in the remaining period before it closed for the day.

The sensitive index, which measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies, slid down 2.56 points. The daily turnover declined to Rs 4.05 billion from Rs 4.84 billion on Thursday.
Among individual companies, 46 were recorded as gainers whereas 193 were the losers.
Manufacturing and Processing by adding 69.20 points was the only gaining group. Of the remaining 12 losers, trading lost the biggest of 103.63 points.
NLG Insurance Company had the biggest turnover of its shares worth Rs 159.23 million. Upper Syange Hydropower Limited lost the highest of 9.99 percent of its market price. Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited by increasing 6.55 percent of its market value was recorded as the biggest gainer.
