KATHMANDU, June 20: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Thursday declined by 10.44 points to close at 2,068.31 points.
The market opened at 2,078.76 points and went to a straight fall throughout the trading hours. The index reached the day’s low at 2,064.42 points before the last five minutes of closure of trading for the day.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies declined by 2.69 points. The daily turnover however inclined to Rs 3.87 billion from Rs 3.40 billion on Wednesday.
Only finance and mutual funds gained 42.02 points and 0.02 points, respectively. Of the 11 losers, the index of life insurance slid down the highest of 82 points.
Among individual companies, 52 were recorded as gainers whereas 186 were the losers.
Mountain Energy Nepal Limited had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 171.48 million. Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited lost the highest of 9.28 percent of its market value. Kalika Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd gained the highest of 7.71 percent.
