Nepse gains 15.49 points on Thursday

KATHMANDU, July 28: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Thursday increased by 15.49 points to close at 2,127.47 points.

KATHMANDU, July 28: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Thursday increased by 15.49 points to close at 2,127.47 points.


The secondary market opened at 2,111.99 points and escalated to an intraday maximum of 2,152.39 points before it plunged to 2,106.44 points. The daily turnover amount jumped to Rs 4.97 billion, which was Rs 3.16 billion on the previous day.

Ten of the 13 trading groups added points to their indices. Manufacturing and processing, others and non-life insurance were the losers in Thursday’s shares transactions.


Among individual companies, Arun Kabeli Power Limited had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 179.68 million. Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Limited was the topmost gainer while Radhi Bidyut Company Limited was the biggest loser in its share value.
