KATHMANDU, July 28: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Wednesday reached an all-time high index of 3,094.94 points.
Giving continuity to its bullish trend, the country’s only stock exchange has been in an escalating trend for the last one week. The Nepse index inclined by around 48 points during the period.
Nepse closes at record high of 1,567 points
On Wednesday, the market inched up 15.3 points. Just a few minutes after the Nepse opened for trading, the market reached up to 3,112 points, which however declined thereafter in a four-hour trading period.
There was a trading of stocks worth Rs 13.29 billion while market capitalization reached Rs 4,305 billion. Out of 13 sub-groups, nine gained in Wednesday’s transactions.
