The artwork will be taken to the surface of the moon by Astrobotic Technologies’ Peregrine lander in the year 2020. The artwork will be symbolic and will represent Nepal.

The statement further added that chairman of the school, Kapil Dev Regmi, handed over a replica of the artwork to Girirajmani Pokharel, Minister for Education, Science and Technology, at an event held at Singh Durbar on April 5. Similarly, a replica was also handed over to Public Affairs Officer Tristram Perry of the US Embassy, Kathmandu.

STEM education was introduced at Kanjirowa with the initiation of Michael, joined by his father. It is the first school in Nepal to introduce this highly technology-oriented curriculum, the statement added.
