Nepali national cricket team reaches Sri Lanka

KATHMANDU, Sept 1: The Nepali national cricket team has reached Sri Lanka. The team has traveled to Sri Lanka for practice sessions and a three-match One Day International (ODI) series starting from Monday.

Nepal is set to play a three-match One Day International (ODI) series against the Sri Lanka Development Team in Sri Lanka as part of their preparation for the ICC World Cup League-2.

According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), information has been provided about the tri-nation series under the World Cup League-2, which will be held in Canada. The tri-nation series involving Canada, Nepal, and Oman will take place from September 16 to September 26. Nepal is preparing for this series in Sri Lanka after their preparation in India.

CAN has also announced a 19-member squad for the preparations in Sri Lanka. The Nepali team includes Rohit Paudel, Ashif Sheikh, Anil Kumar Sah, Dev Khanal, Bhim Karki, Aarif Sheikh, Kushal Malla, Arjun Saud, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Gulshan Jha, and Rijan Dhakal.

Similarly, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, Akash Chand, Sagar Dhakal, Sandeep Jora, Kushal Bhurtel, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Sandeep Lamichhane are also part of the squad.
