Nepali Kung fu players bag 7 medals at WMAC World Cup Bregenz Open

KATHMANDU, Nov 21: Nepali Wuma Kung fu players have won seven medals at the WMAC World Cup Bregenz Open Championship 2019 held in Bregenz, Austria, from November 15 through 16.

KATHMANDU, Nov 21: Nepali Wuma Kung fu players have won seven medals at the WMAC World Cup Bregenz Open Championship 2019 held in Bregenz, Austria, from November 15 through 16.


Sanjay Putuwar won one gold, one silver, and one bronze while Kamal Magar secured two silvers and one bronze in three different categories. Ramesh Maharjan also booked one bronze to his name.

World Martial Arts Committee President Harals Folabori and Secretary-General Denila Klofar had handed over the medals to the winners.


The players landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday. They were welcomed by Nepal Uma Kung fu Association's president and WMSC's international board of director Ashok KC along with the association's vice-president Sanjit Rai and Asian WMAC's international director Siddhartha Lama.
