KATHMANDU, Jan 11: Nepali IT companies can now invest abroad. The Cabinet, through its meeting on Friday night, decided to amend the law through an ordinance, enabling legal provisions for Nepali IT companies to invest in foreign markets.
The government will amend the law through an ordinance to enable Nepali IT companies to compete in foreign markets and generate revenue for Nepal.
24 companies preparing to issue IPOs worth Rs 6.5 billion
The ordinance allows Nepali IT companies to open branch offices abroad. The Cabinet brought the ordinance to amend certain laws and facilitate public services. The President's certification of the ordinance will allow Nepali IT companies to invest abroad.
