KATHMANDU, April 9: Nepal's new jersey for the upcoming T20 World Cup has been unveiled. Sports Minister Biraj Bhakta Shrestha and National Sports Council (NSC) Member Secretary Tanka Lal Ghising jointly revealed Nepal's new jersey at an event held by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) in Kathmandu on Monday.

The bottom of the new jersey has images of rhinoceros and Mount Everest. The color scheme incorporates red, light gray, and white hues. The word "Nepal" is prominently displayed in the center with yellow color, highlighted in blue. Positioned on the left and right sides respectively are the CAN emblem and the T20 World Cup logo. The collar, framing the neckline, is adorned in red. Additionally, both sleeves feature the flag of Nepal.

The predominantly blue back of the jersey showcases the player's name above the jersey number, with Mount Everest depicted at the bottom. In the T-20 World Cup to be held in America and the West Indies in June, Nepal has been placed in Group D, alongside South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and the Netherlands.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 8.
