Nepal-UK ties discussed

KATHMANDU, Feb 13: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Minister of State for Armed Forces of the United Kingdom, Mark Lancaster, have discussed on the two-centuries-old Nepal-Britain diplomatic relations as well as matters of mutual interest.

The meeting took place when the visiting UK Minister of State paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister at his residence in Baluwatar today. PM Deuba is currently handling the Ministry of Foreign Affairs portfolio also. 


The British Minister of State has held meetings with the President, the Minister of Defence and high government officials of Nepal. He is currently on a week-long visit to Nepal since February 8, accompanied by his spouse who is also the Minister of State at the Department of Health and Social Care, Caroline Dinenage.
